The Female Line is a space to meet other women in the creative sector, connect, share and be inspired by guest speakers. Hosted by Her Mark, in partnership with The Place, The Female Line is a welcoming event open to all who identify as female and non-binary. We are very excited to be running this, our first Female Line event in Newport as part of tour across South Wales.

Joining us for June’s event is dance movement psychotherapist, researcher and international facilitator from Puerto Rico, Dr Thania Acarón. Course Leader for MA Arts, Health and wellbeing at the USW, Acarón directs The Body Hotel CIC, an international social enterprise focusing on employee wellbeing in healthcare, burnout prevention and support for marginalised communities. She is soon publishing her first book: Body Questions in Practice: Decision-Making through Movement and the Arts (Routledge), coming out in June 2025.
