Between the ages of 20 - 30 it can be a minefield in knowing which way to turn to establish your career and develop your network. Facing rejection of job and funding applications, not knowing what actual jobs there are in the creative industries, lack of diversity in the sector and little to no entry roles that pay for your time and cover the investment you've made into your own career development thus far. That and training opportunities seem to run dry after you turn 25. This has been made even worse by the pandemic with early career jobs being amongst the first to be put on hold and access to recovery funds going to those with established relationships with funders.
That's why, Her Mark. is developing a new programme of peer support groups led by females who have worked in the industry for decades. During the sessions you will get group coaching and support, develop your networks and leadership skills. The sessions will help you identify your goals and work towards them with tailor made personal support outside of the group sessions also.
Places on the group are 'pay-what-you-can-afford' from £5 per session. Sessions will run every 1st and 3rd Thursday evening of the month for three months, starting in August.
